Change is the only thing besides the Word of God that we can count on. Sometimes change is good; sometimes, not so good. Some changes we can prepare for, others leave us saying, “What just happened here?”
Yet, without change, life would be boring. Change is inevitable. One thing that never changes is God. I’m so very grateful. I need that one constant in my life to keep me sane and focused. I need to know He is there, and that He won’t disown me when I mess up.
Lord, remember that I’m dust. Only by staying tuned in to Him can I make it through the day. I can’t even take my next breath without God.
