Some days we can get emotionally exhausted .. One day I “stumbled across” these verses . . .
“So take a new grip with your tired hands and strengthen your weak knees. Mark out a straight path for your feet so that those who are weak and lame will not fall but become strong.”
(Hebrews 12:12-13 NLT)
As I studied the verses out, I came to discover a definition for the word “path” that really opened my eyes.
WHO are we always supposed to keep our eyes on? Jesus, of course. The Word teaches us that Jesus has experienced our pain and directs our steps if we allow Him.
He is our wheel rut . . .
We don’t have to figure out how to act or react...We don’t have to have all the answers for ourselves or for our hurting friends. We just have to step into that wheel rut we see out in the gravel road or open field and follow it. It will get us all where we are going.
Jesus— our wheel rut
Thankful.
