I have spent a lot of time in the ministry over the years, trying to convince Christians as to how strong they are with the indwelling Spirit of God abiding within >< The Son of God, Who defeated Satan, as their Savior, alive and at the right hand of the Father God interceding for us.
It’s Biblical and when we conduct our lives following God’s Divine truth - we can claim Romans 8:37 as true for us = “MORE THAN CONQUERORS THROUGH HIM THAT LOVED US.”
This poem of the strong oak has been used many times over the years. Let us read it one more time, and let it inspire you!
“THE OAK TREE”
A mighty wind blew night and day, It stole the oak tree's leaves away;
Then snapped it’s boughs and pulled it’s bark, until the oak tree was tired and dark.
But still the Oak tree held its ground, while other trees fell all around.
The weary wind gave up and spoke, How can you still be standing oak?
The oak tree said, "I know that you can break each branch of mine in two, carry every leaf away, shake my limbs, and make me sway.
But I have roots stretched in the earth, growing stronger since my birth.
You’ll never touch them, for you see, they are the deepest part of me.
Until today, I wasn’t sure, of just how much I could endure.
But now I’ve found, with thanks to you. I’m stronger than I ever knew."
