“Today is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24)
At our house when anyone wakes up in a bad mood or sad, this is always our go-to verse. Today, God allowed us to wake up, we need to make the best of it. During this time of the year it is so easy to become sad and depressed because of the cold, snow and no sunshine.
No matter what season we are in, our God is always shining. When the clouds are grey, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and the light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105). God is telling us on your darkest days, I am your light.
(Philippians 4:13) “I can do all things through Christ, which strengthenth me”. When we are going through storms and tribulations, God is our strength. So many times in life we fail to look at the true guidance of our Father. There is nothing you are going through that God does not have the answer already written. (Isaiah 26:4) “Trust ye in the Lord forever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength.” We have to remember, always, God our Father is just that, OUR FATHER; who only wants the best for His children.
No matter where you are in your walk with our Lord and Savior. Trust in God’s word and guidance in all of your decisions. He wrote the answers a long time ago. He knew what you were going to need before you were even born. Trust in your Father, always.
