No Matter the Cost

Written by Michelle C.

It’s sad to say, but in today’s time, fewer people are willing to be used by God. Most are satisfied with possessing eternal life and not having to perish. Are you willing to be used even if it costs you your life? Due to sin we have a death penalty. We know we are going to die at some point, but this is what it comes down to: are you a true Christian, willing to sacrifice your life daily for Christ, or an insincere one who just goes to church on Sunday mornings and not willing to sacrifice your all for Him. Hebrews 12:21 says, “Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever.” God doesn’t expect you to be perfect. You are going to fail at times. But with God’s grace you are able to learn from your mistakes… and be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.” (Romans 12:2) If we aren’t tuned in and focused on Him we will never be able to fully grasp God’s power. We have to trust His plan. More often than not, until we are willing, we will never do. Philippians 2:13, “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” God wants to use you. Are you willing?
