Psalm 40
“Ecstatic praise pours out of my mouth until everyone hears how God has set me free.” “Many will see his miracles; They’ll stand in awe of God and fall in love with him.”
This is important: When we feel we are stuck in a pit of destruction —there IS hope!!! Reading Psalm 40 I was reminded of a song that speaks of this PROMISE from God that He will pull us out of the miry clay—and put our feet on the Rock to stay—then He puts a song of praise in our hearts—but I never noticed the last part of the scripture Psalm 40 verse 3: AND THEN MANY WILL BE SAVED.
The enemy tries to defeat us—Take us out one by one or even in groups, but apparently he hasn’t read the end of the Book, FOR EVERY ONE OF THE DEVIL’S BLOWS, THERE IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR US TO DRAW CLOSER TO GOD . . . FOR OUR GOD WINS, AND WHEN WE CLING TO HIM IN OUR ADVERSITY, NOT ONLY ARE OUR SOULS SAFE, MANY WILL SEE HIS MIGHTY POWER AND GOODNESS AND BE SAVED.
